Very fun, easy to meet people in the bar, hostal groups to night clubes are great, no lines! Great location! beds are confortable! very, very, very noise at night, everyone is drunk (including de staff), screaming a shouting all over the place. Breakfast is OK, and they also give free diner, always pasta, for low budget travelers. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING UNATTENDED, I got my phone robbed in a blink of an eye.... NO electric dots in rooms (can't charge phone, laptop or camera during the night, and DON'T leave it charging anywhere! Most of the staff don;t speak spanish, and don't know the city very well, so they are not very useful. everything else is great! good atmosphere and nice people from all over the world

This hostel was amazing! The fun never ended! Tons of fun nights out to clubs, the pub crawl was great and HENRY is the man! Happy hour at the hostel bar [2 for 1] is a deal. Love, love, LOVED it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wow, what can I say? As an independent traveler on my first trip overseas this summer, I had no idea what to expect. I stayed at Kabul July 5-10, 2010 and Kabul is a large reason why I fell in love with Barcelona! The people there are wonderful. I stayed in a room on the 5th floor, around the corner from an awesome rooftop terrace where I spent afternoons drinking sangria with new friends. The happy hour at the bar was great, not just for the cheap beer, but it was also a great time to meet people. I especially appreciated what Kabul did to organize groups to go to clubs, where we got in for free (saving each of us 20 euro sometimes) with a Kabul stamp. World Cup watching parties were a blast as well. The location cannot get any better, either. It is right off La Rambla in the Plaça Reial, a beautiful plaza iconic to Barcelona full of shops and restaurants and cafés. (Go to Les Quintze Nits for cheap menús del día!). There are not many disadvantages to staying at Kabul. Internet usage is limited and the showers are not always warm. However, I highly recommend Kabul for anyone traveling alone looking for a good time and to meet new people from all over the world.

I've been for 3 nights, the location is perfect near the Ramblas. They organize parties every nights, the staff is very helpful. Maybe the smeel isnt very nice, but if you're young this place is awesome. The best hostel where i've slept

We had really the time of our life at hostel Kabul. The orbit, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice people. The pub-craw to the best clubs in town was a little late 1u45 a.m. but I think that's the lifestyle in Barcelona. Good breakfast and for the evening a little snack. I bought a big beach towel from the hostel for only €10.

Happy Hour was soo much fun! Cheap beers and great music! Our room was really small and had no Air Conditioner but there was a tiny fan. Awesome Location and great events!! I strongly suggest you stay at this Hostel if you are young and want to have fun and meet loads of new people!!
