Everybody is welcome at our budget traveller's meeting spot in the heart of old Bruges. With four adjoined Brugean step-gabled houses, a wealth of traveller services and a great mix of locals and visitors, the Bauhaus draws you in and makes it hard to let go!

The Bauhaus is in the prefect location for you to venture out in Bruges, a city which also goes by the name - Venice of the North. Why not discover the city's many hidden secrets and find out why this uniquely preserved, medieval but kicking UNESCO Heritage Site, was once one of Europe's most important towns and the preferred hang out of many a royal? The magic of Bruges will explain it all!

The character of this central Youth Hostel and Budget Hotel in Bruges will help you stay in touch and in shape, with the in house cybercafé and bike rental facility. By cycling half an hour outside of the city, through the scenic Flemish countryside you will find yourself on the gorgeous white sandy beaches of the Brugean coast, or in the nearby and very interesting, Dutch border towns!

Got a thirst to quench at the end of an exciting day? Well at the ever popular Bauhaus Bar and Sacre Coeur Restaurant, you can easily exchange travel experiences, meet soul mates, have a healthy meal (that doesn't break the bank) and sample a fine selection of Belgium's 1000+ beers. Why not check out one or two of the world's best and extremely tasty, abbey beers? It's a part of the Flemish national heritage and it would be rude not to!

Rooms at the Bauhaus range from dormitories of five, six and eight beds to four person, triple and private doubles. The showers and toilets for these are all shared and you get breakfast, sheets, pillows and duvets provided - for free.
