“friendly, helpful and nice staff, clean and warm hostel...it's a bit difficult to find the hostel by foot... but ppl over there are super nice and i'd got a free ride to the hostel... i love interlaken...”

“Nice, comfortable place in a good location. Comfy beds except the flat pillows:-( Breakfast is included but very small. Good communal kitchen, daily movies.”

“This place is awesome! It has nice rooms.. the beds are very close but you get over that! The bathrooms are small... but thats a minor issue too, as the rest of the place is awesome. The setting is great and the staff are very accommodating to say the least! The bar below the hostel is loads of fun too! I was intent on staying one night but couldn't leave as it was just so much fun! And the activities you can do are just awesome and well worth it!”

“Balmer's was a great place to stay - great location, cool atmosphere, fairly up-to-date accommodations. Things I would change: 1. Bigger pillows on the bed 2. allow the rooms to be open between 10 and 4 - I realize you do this for the security of the guests, but there are keys on the doors and it's really annoying to wait around all day to get in your room / carrying all your shit with you that you might need that day.”

“this place is absolutly amazing, best hostel i have been in europe! clean and cosy! the famous Metro bar rocks! and staff are so so friendly and helpful!canyoning is the must!!! Awesome!!!”
