The adopted Patron saint of Lisbon, Saint Anthony watches over this fesitval of colors music and world ending debauchery. The combination of grilled sardines, flowing red wine, and millions of happy Portuguese people on the streets makes this festival truly unique in Europe. This 24-hour fiesta is usually held on the 13th of June.
This is when the sun comes up and the festival starts to wind down.
