Every year on the eve of Bastille Day, the city of Paris turns into one giant party ‐ hosted by firehouses throughout Paris and also, anyone else who wants to open their doors! City wide parties aside, the real purpose of the evening is to recognise the brave Pompiers (French Fire Fighters) and everything they do throughout the year.
