With a rich Roman history, it’s equal parts charming and romantic. Verona’s historical significance is clear with its impressive medieval architecture and ancient ruins. You can even see the balcony from which Juliet wondered, ‘O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?’
Designed by the Dukes of Savoy as the Paris of the South, Turin is the birthplace of Italian aperitivo, so make sure to set some time aside for this early evening tradition. 10. St. Moritz, Switzerland
