Bello Comodo: Italian Hostels for Digital Nomads and Students
20 of the best hostels in Italy are ready to host digital nomads, students, and the new world of home office.
If Italy was once the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreaks, things are different now. Recently cited by the WHO as a successful example on how to fight the virus, Italy now sees better days. Consequently, the country seems to be a safe bet for digital nomads and those who can not wait to get on the road again.
While neighbouring countries are experiencing a second surge in cases, Italians have learned from their past. The number of daily new cases is 20% lower compared to its neighbours. Whether this is from the harsh lockdown measures, or memory of the impact caused by the pandemic, Italy seems to be closer to normality.
While with strict sanitary guidelines and punishments for those who not comply, Italy is adapting. Restaurant, bars, and hostels have opened their doors. And despite the limitations, the essence of Italy is alive!
If adaptation is key for survival in 2020, hostels could not stay indifferent. Aware of the struggle home office professionals, students and digital nomads might be facing, an initiative by Ostello Bello began. Bello Comodo is a group of 20 of the best Italian hostels offering solutions catering to this new market.
Whether you’re looking for a different working environment, or even a mid/long term stay, Bello Comodo has what you need.
Bello Comodo Perks
Here you will find all relevant information on Bello Comodo and what it offers for those looking to spend some time away!
One of the main premises of Bello Comodo is flexibility. No minimum stay or rent deposits are required for bookings.
With Bello Comodo, you can also either pick a monthly rate or pay as you stay. Rates depend on the kind of room you want, and can range from 250 – 600€ a month, which is a bargain when considering the famous locations of all these hostels.
If there’s one thing hostels do well, it’s the common areas. Bello Comodo locations are equipped with lounges, terraces, bean bags , hammocks…you name it. This makes it an attractive option for those looking to socialise. In addition, most have onsite bars, kitchens, and activities, making it easy to detach from your computer when it’s time.
On the other hand, hostels are also masters in the art of making you feel at home. With working spaces and quiet hours, you can be sure you can escape the social sides when you want.
As already stated, rooms can range from 250-600€ a month. You can pick from a range of singles, doubles, or triples, in case you want to share with colleagues.
And if shared bathrooms are an issue for you, don’t stress as most rooms also come with a private bathroom.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet space for a Zoom call, or just a little nap after lunch (Italians call that Piselino) Bello Comodo has you covered.
All hostels are equipped with fast Wi-Fi and in-room work stations so you can get into a nice workflow.
Connect, connect, connect. This is what life is really all about. Regardless of your job or aspirations, being part of a community is key and Bello Comodo offers this. Co-working is now an established culture, and hostels are here for it. The experiences from sharing a table with people from different backgrounds is part of the allure. And it’s pretty similar to what hostels already do anyway.
