ArkaBarka Floating Hostel’s best facilities

activities

Hostel facilities include a ground-floor lounge where you can chill with your peers, other travellers, or locals. The lounge is connected to the balcony with amazing panoramic views of the Danube River. From the balcony, you can also see one of the main Belgrade attractions—the natural bird’s reserve of War Island and the Kalemegdan fortress. The reception is combined with a cafe-bar and plenty of chilling space around it. The best place to have breakfast is on the hostel’s outdoor terrace. Enjoy the sun, have a meal or drink, chat with friends—all that while floating on the water. The wooden house, specially designed rooms, sounds of the river and birds, and even a sauna—ArkaBarka offers all that and much more! Here, you can experience the best of nature just a few minutes away from the city centre.

Nice fluvial view from the terrace and room balcony (equipped with chairs/table). Unfortunately they only serve drinks, no food beside breakfast. Staff is versatile and friendly. I gained an individual room with ensuite bath. It is all very narrow like a fluvial ship cabin. You may like it, as wall as the soft shakes from the ponton.

A very nice and charming hotel. It has a splendid terrace overlooking the lake, the staff is very courteous and friendly, but neither changing towels nor making beds is provided in the rooms. We have been here for 3 days and they have never intervened in the room. The location is very pleasant, in a large park, reachable by public transport. Advise!! In the room there is a kettle with cups and herbal teas ♥️, air conditioning, TV and excellent wifi.

We stayed for one night in a private room and the experience was amazing. The common area was very nice and cozy, the room itself was clean and the mattresses were comfortable. The included breakfast suprised us with a wide variety of options, sweet and salty. Definetly recommend it, especially for longer than a night.

Beautiful view of the Danube, very friendly staff who were helpful if you had any questions. The most expensive room, however, strangely enough, had an open shower. Other than that, good breakfast and better beer. You can do it

It wasn't just the stunning surroundings or the good value for money, but the hospitality of the people that left a phenomenal impression. 11 out of 10 because my expectations were far exceeded and everyone should enjoy it.

The hotel is perfect, very good attention from all the staff, incredible food, clean and cozy rooms and common areas, nice terrace overlooking the Danube, they also accept animals, which I think is very necessary, and connected by bus with the center 5 minutes away, highly recommended!

We booked room for 5 people. This was an interesting experience! The room was clean as well as the bathroom, but there were spiders and mosquitoes, which was not so nice. Very good breakfast with a river view.

Great, quiet, stylish hostel. A few minutes from the pier you will find great clubs & bars. We were there with the kids and really enjoyed our stay. Super friendly staff and mega decorative wall designs.

A gem among hostels! Obviously it remains a hostel on the river, there may be insects and humidity, but rated as a hostel, what's better? Having the room overlooking the Danube is worth the whole experience
