Le prime 10 cose da fare a Lisbona

Le prime 10 cose da fare a Lisbona

Portugal’s capital city Lisbon is made up of 7 hills, and has an infinite amount of things to do. From captivating street art, to traditional Portuguese bars, your itinerary will quickly fill up! Read on for the Top 10 Things to Do in Lisbon!

Top things to do in Lisbon!

1. Casa do Fado

Prima di colpire uno dei tanti club Fado di Bairro Alto o Alfama, un viaggio Casa do Fado e da Guitarra Portuguesa is a good place to start. Its audiovisual displays allow you to get lost in the sights and sounds of the bluesy, melancholic sounds of Portugal. The tour ends with a moving, virtual performance.

While the Alfama district is the home and birthplace of Fado, many of the venues are quite touristy and can be expensive. We suggest Bairro Alto for some non-touristy Fado venues. There’s a free Fado show at “Tasca do Chico” every Monday & Wednesday.

This is Lisbon’s Circus School, but offers more than just entertainment! Its in the Distretto di Castelo and the patio offers spectacular views of the city and river. The venue is home to three separate establishments, so there’s really a place for everyone here!

4. Belém

No trip to Lisboa is a success without a pilgrimage to Belém. It’s famous for its 15th century port, from where Portuguese ships set sail to discover shipping routes. We recommend a visit here to learn about the history and culture of this famous district in Lisbon.

5. Night out in Bairro Alto

Whether you want to drown your sorrows in bottle while listening to Fado, dance to great beats produced by bumping DJ’s, or rock out in an indie dive bar, this is the place! The area is most crowded from Thursday to Saturday! Cheap beer and no cover charge guarantees Lisbon as one of the hottest nightspots in Europe!

8. We Hate Tourism Tours

Bruno and his friends take travellers on trips they’ll never forget. These tours are designed to be less about the hot tourist spots in Lisbon, and more about the underground culture and life of in the city. They offer a wide range of tours to really give you a variety. It’s truly one of the best things to do in Lisbon!

9. Miradouro de Santa Catarina

Known locally as Adamastor, it’s a must for its views and diversity of patrons. You can also enjoy free, live music here every night of the week!
