アムステルダム is one of the most popular destinations in Europe, and for a number of reasons. Traveller’s flock to the Dutch capital year after year to check out the curiosities and culture the Netherlands is so well known for. But no matter what brings you to the city, you want to be sure you pick the right accommodation. And since アムステルダム is such a popular tourist spot, sometimes you need to book well in advance to ensure you even get a room or bed. So if you can avoid it, we definitely don’t recommend leaving any bookings last minute!

Gone are the days of hotels being outrageously expensive and hostels being outrageously unclean and dangerous. In the first episode of Hostels vs. Hotels, our hosts head to Amsterdam! Our hosts stayed at the Flying Pig Uptown Hostel for one night, and spent their second night at a 5 star hotel. While we won’t reveal the name of the hotel (ya know, for legal reasons), we can assure you it’s a well known chain!
And they checked out both accommodation locations thoroughly. From the rooms, to the common areas, the social value, and even the basics like cleanliness, our hosts cover it all. They take you through what it’s like to be a guest at Flying Pig Uptown, as well as a fancy hotel. Who will win? You’ve got to catch the episode to see!
