Ostello Bello Lake Como

Very central, easy to reach from the train station. I had booked an 8-person room because I was only on the return journey, but at check-in the employee suggested booking me into a smaller (5-person room) at no extra charge for me. I thought it was great that you could get free drinks during the day and there was a water refill station. Attention was also paid to waste separation. My only suggestion/wish for improvement would be a little more vegan selection at breakfast (but that's generally difficult in hostels). Would definitely come back 😊

I was there less than a week ago with an acquaintance who often comes here. I have always wanted to stop here out of curiosity and with this opportunity I did it for the first time. Nice experience ☺️. I also recommend it because it is very close to the lake which I really appreciate and not very far from the Como lake station

Very cool accommodation for young people who would like to make new acquaintances. Once here, gladly again a second time. And Como is and remains a great city.

Perfect for storing our suitcase (5€/d) during our excursion to the lake 🙂

The experience at "Ostello Bello" was very positive: very welcoming environment, well organised, very friendly staff and clean room. There is the possibility of participating in events organized by the hostel where you can meet traveling and local people. I recommend it without hesitation!

This hostel is ideal if you want to have a good time and meet young people from all over the world. The atmosphere is very good and it is great located, 5 minutes walk from the boat terminal. It also has a Carrefour right next door, open 24/7. In the hostel kitchen they give some cooking ingredients and kitchen utensils for free, which allows you to socialize while you prepare dinner. The beds are very comfortable and clean, although the bathroom leaves something to be desired. The breakfast is not bad, for €5 it has everything you need, without being particularly rich. The staff is super friendly and attentive, they strive to make your stay pleasant at all times. I totally recommend it!

We went there to have a drink. And what a glass! The spritz is €5! service and waiter are not bad at all!

Superb hostel in the center of town. The atmosphere is incredible, especially in the evening. The services are impressive! : breakfast, kitchen available, free drink, food available...and so on! I therefore recommend it to have a pleasant time. In particular, I met some fantastic people in my room.

Very clean, very friendly, friendly, well located (supermarket right next door, parking, not far from the park right on the lake, close to the center). It's a youth hostel, not a 5 star hotel, according to the standard. I was in the 5-bed room... you have to like that. It was OK for me for one night.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Free welcome drink. Board and Tv Games. There was a piano people could play in the common area and a table tennis table next to the tables outside the bar. The room was nice. The bathroom/toilet, it could've been better. The atmosphere was great and there was karaoke night the night I was there which was super fun and brought everyone together for an evening of fun.

Ostello Bello was hands down the best hostel experience I have had yet! Not only were the rooms well-kept, the staff was incredible. Jordan and Jo were two of the most genuine people I have met on my traveling experience and definitely knew how to make a good time great! If you are ever able to visit, send my regards!

We were there to have a beer. Very pleasant, relaxed service, cozy little garden with bike racks in the garden, which allows relaxed beer drinking with a bike in view. Mainly young audience, but as an older year you don't feel out of place. Anytime again, prices are right.

An absolutely amazing experience at Ostello Bello. The staff were the friendliest I’ve encountered and I felt welcomed straight away. The room had all of the necessary facilities as well and the bed was comfy. The atmosphere was also fantastic and is the perfect place in Como to sit and enjoy a drink. I will definitely be back!

We are absolutely blown away by our stay at Ostello Bello Como on Lake Como and the hospitality of the staff! After we arrived as a family with 3 children (almost 40 degrees + a bit stressed!) and realized that we had booked wrong, I had a brief emotional breakdown... Francesca then came out from behind the counter to hug me and to assure me that we'll manage it somehow :) Thanks again for your warmth and the good feeling that you gave me with it! Shortly thereafter we moved into a nice, clean family room with a private bathroom. Everything super modern furnished and with working air conditioning. Wow absolutely exceptional for a hostel! Then followed 6 relaxed days, which always started with an excellent small breakfast buffet (incl. good coffee + croissants), followed by our daily soccer family tournament. The children were able to roam around freely in the backyard and there was generally a lot to do for them (board games, instruments, table tennis and Playstation) which gave us as parents some quality time together! After we spent the day around Lake Como and they were in bed we could sit in the courtyard and enjoy delicious cocktails or a good bottle of wine. Although the staff is totally relaxed and individual, you immediately notice how professional everyone works and you get great quality for little money! The music was always cool (even live on Friday/Saturday) and we met nice people from all over the world. We would especially like to thank Chiara, who as a local gave us special insights into life in Italy, Italian music and lots of good tips about Como. She was always in a good mood and treated our children so warmly! As a farewell, the three of them even got an Ostello Bello T-shirt as a gift, thank you again for that!! We can absolutely recommend a holiday in this hostel, not only for young backpackers but also for families :)

It combines quality and tranquility with fun. Great for meeting people and having a good rest at the same time. My room was very silent. Bathroom and kitchen with everything necessary. I recommend!

What can I say about a place where everything is possible? Coffee is lunch. In addition to having fruits, cookies, coffee, tea all day long. The kitchen and living room belong to your home. There are 1,000 people who work. The room was very organized, with space for studying, the bathroom was great. And the price for us students is fantastic.

We just had coffee there. For what ? Because as you pass by, it offers a quiet, shaded terrace with very relaxing spots (sofa, deckchair, etc.). The welcome is very warm. The hotel part is, I think, dedicated to a young and dynamic clientele (an observation made by seeing the kikis wake up and have coffee). Pleasant music. Very well placed not far from the Volta temple.

Very nice hostal, super lively, breakfast included and has a kitchen with several ingredients available for you to cook whenever you want. There is a bar underneath the hostal, with bands, etc. Very fair price. 100% staff and very friendly receptionists! I recommend it and would definitely go back!

Great hostel, with incredible structure... Bathroom in the room, great bar, full kitchen (including food)... Very good recreation area and well located...
