Famous for its culture, world famous art, and free museums, 런던 will keep you entertained day in and day out. No matter how much time you spend here, you’ll probably never see it all. But you can at least try! So without further ado, here are the top 10 things to see in London.
1. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
While it’s not the original theatre where Shakespeare’s plays were performed, it’s the closest you can get. For lover’s of the old theatre, you can still catch plays during the season, which runs from April until October. Check out the programme for more information and if you can’t catch a show, be sure to take a guided tour.
2. British Museum
One of the best things to do in 런던 is to visit its amazing museums, and the nice thing about it is that it won’t cost you more than time. London’s museums are mostly free, so you should take advantage. Our favourite is the British Museum, which houses several incredible artefacts. While many items have been gifted to the museum, some still have disputed ownership, which is important to keep in mind when visiting. Notable artefacts include the Rosetta Stone, Samurai armour, an Easter Island statue head, and so much much.
3. West End Theatre
If you love big theatre, then West End is definitely one of the top things to do in London! Check out some websites like TicketMaster and LastMinute if you want to score a deal on tickets, sometimes for as little as £30. Also remember that there’s good theatre across the city which can be seen on the cheap or even for free!
