Up to this point few have been aware of Kokoschka’s life and works.. Around 5,000 photos have been recovered, and are now held by the University of Applied Arts Vienna. These photos will now be shown for the first time, in a exhibition which includes commentary from art and literature experts. Photos from Kokoschka’s professional and private circles show you his rich and intense life, while at the same time they represent a piece of 20th-century European history.
