Lastly, no tourist guide to Moscow would be complete without a mention of the shopping and dining available. For shopping one simply must visit the GUM and TSUM. These two shopping centres provide a full day of shopping at a wide range of budgets.

The Red Square

For a great view head to places like the Sky Lounge of the Academy of Science, The Mercedes bar, or the swanky O2 lounge at the Ritz Carton.

Culture is an important part experiencing any city and not surprisingly Moscow has plenty of it.

The most popular theatre in Moscow is the Bolshoi, followed closely by the State Kremlin Palace, Moscow New Opera and Theatre and the Helikon Opera Theatre. Many more choices are available as this is just the tip of the iceberg. Museums are in abundance as well, comprising the most i’ve seen in any city. The extensive list includes The Moscow Kremlin, The State Tretyakov Gallery, Pushkin state Museum of fine arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Arts and many more.
