Ostello Bello Rome

Nice rooms and also the room with private bathroom, shame about the lack of brightness also due to the scaffolding for the external works which prevented the shutters from opening. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was not as varied... Price a little high given that towels and breakfast are not included.

Great hostel with very friendly, attentive and motivated employees. The location is outstanding (the Colosseum is right behind a park, about a 3-minute walk away), which makes even the cheap public transport ticket in Rome unnecessary (I did everything on foot, it takes about an hour to walk to the Vatican. - On the way there are the most beautiful districts of the city with numerous cafés). The breakfast is good, it's a small buffet and you'll definitely get full - tip: the coffee from the bar is worth it... Both the inner courtyard and the roof terrace are a dream ("Jacomo!!") - also the kitchen, During my visit, some cooking ingredients including the most important spices were placed (e.g. delicious noodles) is perfect! In the evening, the hostel often even sets up a pot of pasta (and pesto, for example) for self-service in the bar area (which was outstanding on the day of arrival, for example). Minor defects were taken very seriously and repaired immediately - you can really rely on all the employees, thank you very much for the great time in Rome!

Informal, welcoming and cool environment. Unfortunately due to work on the facade we were unable to open the bedroom window and the shutter. Old building with some maintenance needed.

Great welcome upon entering the hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are clean. Bed linens too. The products offered at the bar are quality.

Hostel near the Colosseum focused on young visitors. There is breakfast included in the price. The staff is quite friendly. There is no disabled access on the first floor, which is a mezzanine. Our room had a double bed with two side tables, a table and two chairs and a kind of coat rack. There is no television or refrigerator and the power outlets are far from the bed. In the bathroom there is a shower with screen, sink, toilet and bidet and a hair dryer and a towel dryer. It's good to spend a couple of nights

Excellent hostel. I arrived late in the evening without a reservation because my arrival in Rome had been a last-minute plan. As soon as I arrived, the girls at the reception treated me very kindly and gave me a drink. They were in charge of finding me a room, where I stayed for two nights. Both room and bathroom very clean. The atmosphere is respectful and warm. You don't feel alone. Very sure. In addition, it is so close to the Colosseum that it takes just 5 minutes to walk there. During my three days in Rome I walked throughout the city, so it is central and well located. I would return!

+ great staff, guests in their mid-20s to early 30s create a great atmosphere far away from binge drinking. + never felt alone + something is offered every day (family dinner, karaoke...) + bar and prices that are ok + roof terrace is a dream + courtyard is super cozy + single room small but cozy + location - vegan options for breakfast Not available at all, but generally not a great breakfast. Seems loveless.

Very nice young people who run the Ostello. An alternative to chic and unnecessary ostentation if you just want to see the city of Rome. A 5-minute walk from the Colloseo and Roman Forum and a hike to the Vatican is also a nice excursion on foot. It is significantly more than what you would expect from a hostel. A clear recommendation!

Very nice hostel near the Colosseum. It's easy to get in touch with others from the hostel, it's well connected to the sights, it was clean and had good service and the breakfast was also really great. I will come back:)

My overall rating is 8/10 for a short stay! Very welcoming hostel with very friendly staff and they are always ready to offer help at any time! There is a very beautiful terrace at the reception and another with a superb view upstairs! It's also a hostel with a perfect location, just a few minutes' walk from the central station, grocery stores and the Colosseum! The only thing to improve would be: the mattresses of their beds.

Nice hotel, very good location to the Colosseum, very nice reception. There were also 2 free drinks and other vouchers for the e-scooters in the city. Suggestions for improvement: -thicker toilet paper -something against the tiger mosquitoes in the rooms

A really very nice hostel. The rooms are clean and relatively modern. In addition, the team is super nice and helpful. The hostel is perhaps a 5-10 minute walk from the Colosseum, making it a good base for exploring the city. The breakfast is good and the coffee tastes excellent. The bar also serves delicious drinks. We'd love to come back.

Well, the Ostello Bello is quite expensive, we paid around €50 per bed per night, there were ants in the bathroom, but very good room concept (two bathrooms in the 5-bed room), it was quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the location is very good, and we especially liked the roof terrace.

Excellent experience: the staff is super friendly and kind, the rooms are simple, clean and the lock opens with your smartphone. The common areas are comfortable and pleasant, especially the roof terrace, really beautiful! Breakfast was also great.

5 min away from Colosseo this place is a gem with its hospitality, friendly guests and organized rooms. Recommended!

Very close to the Colosseum which was very helpful. Hostel throws events every night. Our first night it was a ‘family dinner’ providing us free dinner that we were very grateful for.
