The city is crammed with vegan restaurants and many other restaurants offer extensive vegan alternatives to the rest of their menu. Beyond this Berlin also offers many different concept stores and vegan-based communities. Activism is strong here so this comes to no one’s surprise. Berlin has also been dubbed the Vegan capital of the world before!

Finland is one of the most progressive countries in the world, and its attitude towards veganism is no exception! Veganism in Finland is on the rise and Helsinki especially has many vegan options for food, as well as an all-vegan clothing store! Being vegan is super easy here and worthwhile!
What to do in non-vegan-friendly places?
While it is relatively easy nowadays to travel as a vegan there are still some places where there might not be vegan restaurants around every corner. In these cases and also if you are looking to save money it is best to just buy fresh produce from local markets/supermarkets and use them to cook your meals! For this, you will need to make sure that your accommodation includes a kitchen, and you are good to go.
