Not only is this popular festival a 5 day celebration of music – Primavera Sound hosts workshops, parties, and shows in sunny Barcelona! The main events take place at the Forum on the beach, but there’s several locations throughout the city, including some free ones! Former headliners have included Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, The Strokes, Radiohead, and LCD Soundsystem, just to name a few. It’s the perfect festival to kick off your party season!

The festival hosts about 20, 000 enthusiasts annually, and is a long weekend filled with music, events, costumes, fetish parties, and more. Festival attendees typically dress up in their preferred Gothic costume, and the city turns ‘dark’ for a few days! Festival attendees are also entitled to free public transportation, and free entrance to some museums during the festival. Leipzig loves Wave Gotik Treffen!

DesertFest features over 50 bands at various venues, art exhibitions, beer gardens, and markets all around Berlin. From Thursday until Sunday, there’s no shortage of events to rock out to. If you’re a fan of hard rock and heavy metal this is a festival you certainly won’t want to miss!

For fans of the art of film, or even if you just possibly rub shoulders with celebs, then this is an event you won’t want to miss.
