Pilo Hostel

It was my first stay in a hostel and I traveled alone! It was a really cool experience and made me excited for my next solo trip! The staff were amazing and made me feel safe. The location was very good, just 10 minutes walk from vieux Lyon and other central locations. Bunk bed was nice and cozy. Just very stuffy! I met some amazing people and enjoyed my stay! Someone told me it's one of the best hostels in the city! Great for meeting people

We had booked a room for the night of February 2 to 3 Super room, the location was very pleasant and the service was perfect: we had taken the breakfast formula everything was super good and plentiful We had big suitcases and the staff helped us helped a lot. In short, a superb experience that we will recommend to you without hesitation

Amazing hostel, would 100% recommend. Really great location and the staff were just brilliant I’ve stayed in a few other Lyon hostels and this one was definitely the best. I was a last minute booking and the staff were really accommodating and friendly. The 8 bedroom female room was great. It had curtains on each bed and an ensuite. The cleaners came at least once, sometimes twice, a day so the place was really clean

Came with family to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday, perfect weekend. Friendly hotel, pleasant and very clean room with excellent bedding. The staff is attentive to provide a perfect welcome. We can't wait to come back to Lyon to stay at Pilo again!

I recently stayed at Hotel Pilo Lyon and it was a really satisfying experience. The hotel offers a clean and tidy environment, which I really appreciate. The beds were comfortable and ensured a restful sleep. One unique feature that caught my eye was the communal kitchen - a great addition for those who prefer to cook their own meals. The hotel staff deserves special mention for their friendliness and helpfulness, which made my stay even more pleasant. Another advantage was the check-out time at 11am, which is more convenient compared to other hostels. Overall, I rate Hotel Pilo Lyon 5 out of 5 for its excellent service and facilities. The location is also perfect!

Hotel/hostel in a slightly decentralized area but convenient for all the main attractions of the city. A little "tiring" to reach on foot as it is located on a slope. The staff is extremely professional and friendly! The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is rich. We spent New Year's Eve in their restaurant and had a lot of fun! Thanks again to all the staff!

Absolutely perfect. I stayed in one of their dormitories. The staff were kind and accommodating, couldn't have asked for more. My first night, I figured out I wasn't athletic enough to climb up to the bed I'd been assigned (the railings were too high on the bunk bed), so the staff immediately moved me to a new one. There's someone at the desk 24×7 to help with anything that might come up.

The pilo staff is really excellent, I had to turn to them on several occasions and they have always been able to solve the problem and have helped me with what I needed! I was in a shared room, quite spacious and with a nice view of the mini Eiffel tower. Very good atmosphere in the hostel, there are some bars nearby! Be careful if you arrive walking to the hostel because it is on a very steep climb which will make you tired. The beds are comfortable

Impressed with how clean the room was. Nice decor. Very good location, close enough to the centre but without the noise. My room was facing the courtyard which was nice and quiet. The staff was helpful and nice. The restaurant had a nice feel to it, modern, with plenty of light in.

Nicest hostel I've stayed at so far in a month of traveling! The best part about the hostel is the staff, they are very kind, helpful and have great recommendations. Also very happy to see that live stand-up comedy and live music was supported by the hostel. Everybody had a great time at the comedy show and that was the best part of the week! I will definitely stay here again next time I come through Lyon!

Awesome experience! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The setting is very pleasant and the cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable. We are a little far from the center if you want to visit Lyon on foot but the public transport service is very accessible. I will come back and recommend anyone to try.

The truth is that it is a very well set up hotel. Six floors with twelve rooms on my floor and eighteen beds in my room. At €40 per bed, what a deal they have set up. They also have a restaurant and a bar, a terrace and they do activities, such as football on the big screen or yoga or music. All very well done. Breakfast for €8 is quite good. Be careful that in Booking they sell it to you for €10, what a bargain. The rooms are very new and each trundle bed has its own light, plug and USB charger, which is important. Each room has shared bathrooms and shared showers. Everything went well and the bar was great so you didn't have to be in the trundle bed. The location could be improved, it is on the hill and it is all uphill.

Really good experience as a solo traveler in this hostel. As someone who didn't necessarily want to meet new people, this hostel was a good choice for my two-day stay. But there are also various evening events where you could certainly make contacts. The clientele is very young, most of the people I met were around 20. The hostel is super well located, in the Croix-Rousse district, with lots of bars, restaurants, bakeries and beautiful viewpoints over the whole of Lyon. The staff was really nice and genuinely interested in my stay in the city when I checked out. The only negative was the somewhat small sleeping capsules, which gave you a lot of privacy, but I once hit my back trying to go out. Even though I was staying on the second to last floor, I often heard quite loud stomping from above, which was remedied with Oropax.

The beds are very comfortable! We slept in a private room with a double bed and it exceeded our expectations! The staff very kind and friendly. Very good atmosphere and delicious specialty coffee! :)

Very modern hotel with an attached restaurant. Lots of activities, modern and functional rooms with private bathrooms. The hotel staff is friendly. The free Wi-Fi is mostly fine. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit decentralized and on a high mountain.

Very good hostel! Cleanliness is 100% Internet 100% Location 100% Service is very good I came straight in, I was so warm, the nice young woman gave me a glass of water without me saying anything! I am completely satisfied I recommend it
