Madrid has a bit of the both worlds, the contemporary west and the traditional Southern European style bars. There are some expensive hotspots while there are many things to do on a budget. If you wish to explore nightlife in Madrid on a low budget, then you must have the right plan and the right approach.
You have to decide what all you wish to do and in what sequence. You can’t trapse around the city in one night and hope to explore it all. You can start off your evening by visiting a few places which do not charge you any penny or you can go for a drink.
Should you decide to explore some places for free then you can start with the museums that have free hours or you can visit the free exhibits, concerts and films. Moreover, every night the theme of the party changes, you can spend a 100% rock night one day and one totally different the next day. Finally, you can go to the Fabrik, one big club outside the city which can welcome 7000 persons and where you could listen electro music.
