Here you’ll find some of the city’s best galleries and best bars, clubs, and wine bars. Together with the restaurants that are popping up in and around the area, Kødbyen has more entertainment than there are nights in the week.
But all areas around the centre have their own bar scene, and you’ll soon see that bars are busy all year round and in all weather. Note that people tend to go out a little later here, is not at all unusual for a place to start filling up around midnight.
In the area around コペンハーゲン ダウンタウン ホステル you’ll find some of the city’s best cocktail bars and bodegas. That’s if you don’t end up staying all night in our friendly bar of course. The Copenhagen Downtown bar has live music by local bands every Monday and Thursday, and fun parties every Saturday. Locals are very welcome, so bring your new Danish friends along!

Fortunen
A trendy restaurant at day and a hot bar at night, Fortunen has become one of the most spoken of places the last year. If you like a vibrant night out on the town, this is certainly your first stop. The boys behind the bar also run “Dyrehaven” and a nightclub called “Bakken”.
Ruby
A quick walk from our hostel we find Ruby, a cocktail bar that has managed to stay friendly, relaxed, and inclusive despite being one of the most talked about places in the city. The expert bartenders here know their job is to make people feel welcome as much as it is mixing drinks, and they excel at both. Ruby’s has some of the most interesting and delicious drinks Copenhagen has ever had the pleasure to taste, making it a very welcome addition to the neighborhood’s bar scene.
Floss
If your taste is more beer than cocktails, Floss might be something for you. A legend both in the neighborhood and in the music history of Copenhagen, Floss used to be the main hang-out for Copenhagen’s punk scene. It has always had a clientele full of rock bands, writers, artists, and other creatives, and with a pool table, dart boards, fussball, and a daily happy hour, Floss is a definitely worth a visit.
