Eating out or heading to the posh clubs which are integral to the nightlife in London could cause a dent in anyone’s wallet.
However, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a night in London on a low budget. There dozens of things to do and the city has a lot to offer. While London may not be known as the city that never sleeps but it certainly has plenty to offer throughout the night and throughout the city.
First, you should start off your evening with a bang or at a steady pace. Depending on what you want, you can head to a party or you can catch some theatre or musical.
West End
El West End has lots of long running musicals and theatres to offer and you can easily get your dose of art, culture, literature and history at these shows at a convenient price. If you wish to continue exploring art then the all night movie theatres should be your next stop. London is a hub of indie films and some theatres play all the cult classics and some new indie releases all night. You can have a gala time if you like indie cinema.
You may be in need of some music and drinks. The posh clubs may be a little much for an average backpacker but there are many bars, clubs and pubs where you can have a great time without hurting your wallet.
Underground Music Scene
Irrespective of where you go to party, you should not miss the underground music scene. London has been the hotbed of many genres of music. It has one of the most thriving underground scenes not just in the UK or Europe but across the world. There is Dubstep, Hip Hop Karaoke, live performances, numerous concerts throughout the year and every kind of moves, from street dancing to freestyle. It is fun, not very expensive, loud and exciting and not a minute at an underground scene would be disappointing.
There are plenty of parks and sightseeing that you can indulge in while exploring the nightlife in London. If you are fond of seafood then you should pay a visit to the late night or early dawn fish markets to grab some fresh treats for your breakfast or late night snack!

Let’s get real and find a great Pubcrawl in London, right? Well that’s pretty easy.. there’s pubcrawls every night at St. Christopher’s The Village. On Fridays and Saturdays you can party ‘till 3am with resident DJs.
