YOU GONNA LOVE Stockholm

Stockholm has become internationally known as the home of modern design, top class night clubs and beautiful people. Although many think of Stockholm and Sweden as cold, wintery places, this city actually has a beautiful summer with long, warm summer days, and is never more beautiful than when the sun shines on the water and the parks that make up two thirds of the city. Locals are polite and often speak many different languages, on top of perfect English.

The city is built up on 14 different islands, and each island makes up a different neighbourhood. The oldest of these is the Gamla Stan and is referred to as the old town. Here the streets a teeny tiny and cobblestoned while The Royal Palace is the jewel on Gamla Stan's crown.

A trip to Stockholm would never be complete without joining the locals in spending whole afternoons over cups of coffee in one of the many outdoor cafes that line the streets. The Swedes love a good 'Fika'!
