Very elegant rooms for a hostel, absolutely not expensive, there is a small bar (you get a "FREE DRINK" at the beginning), all cat-themed, clean, nice staff who also give you tips, you can book tours from the hostel like eg a wine tour. Very central, not noisy (unless there are noisy guests which we only had one night), everyone speaks perfect English, there is a shared kitchen, and the maximum length you can stay is 7 days. Unfortunately internet was not good.

Good for the price it offers. Central located, nice atmosphere, nice outdoor-bar area. The bed was not so big but it was Ok. The toilet had no carpet and there was mold as well. I stayed in a 6 people-mixed room

The hostel is really great. Each room has its own shower - in our room there were even 2 showers - and also its own toilet, which is rather untypical for a hostel. Everything was very clean and satisfactory. The common areas are very nice, especially the roof terrace. You can have a pretty cheap and good breakfast for €2, so you don't waste a lot of time in the morning. The staff speaks English very well, is very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the €3 for the towel, but otherwise I can warmly recommend the hostel!

The hostel has a very good location. Right in the center of Porto and close to the train station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Large lounges and a terrace make it easy to meet new people. The rooms were nice and clean with curtains on the beds and lockers.

The hostel is well equipped and has an unbeatable location. The breakfast is acceptable and the employees are very friendly. We didn't like the atmosphere too much, it was full of conversations gringos and intrusive tone. We spent almost all the time of our stay outside.

At the reception one speaks perfect English or several languages. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Great bar, great team and the garden terrace is great to end the day with! Good music!

Very good hostels, it's pretty, the staff is friendly, on the whole well equipped (fan for the beds, pq, air conditioning) well placed with a very nice terrace. The downsides are few and not very important, the bathroom lights are not practical for the mirrors, and the lack of some supplies in the kitchen, even if the main one, hob, oven, microwave, saucepan, stove, fridge are the , the lack of a knife for cooking is a shame. But very good place with a very good breakfast

Hostel with good location, very friendly staff, 24h reception, free breakfast. Close to São Bento station, Clérigos Tower, Sé and D. Luís Bridge. There are also restaurants, McDonald's nearby and several shops, bookstores, bars, etc. The rooms had 5 bunk beds (10 beds) with curtains and lockers, a bathroom with 2 toilets and two showers, there are mixed, male and female rooms. The main building has a terrace where you can spend time well, however there is another building with just rooms and a kitchen but it is very close, about 30 seconds on foot, the door to the main building is always open. Excellent quality for such low prices and the fact that it is a hostel even makes us meet people from other countries and with other cultures. The hostel also offers free guided tours at certain hours. 10/10 recommend

Good structure, complete and delicious breakfast. But it's a bit bad to stay in the second building, as you have to go out to the main building every day for breakfast and information. Bathroom could be a little bigger. I loved the beds with curtains. Beautiful and modern environment, colorful and cozy. Fair value per day, would recommend and would stay again. It does not have cameras despite having alerts saying that it does. Security is poor.

This is the hostel with the most accommodations I have been to. The curtains in the beds give lots of privacy. Entry into the bedroom and the spacious storage area for personal belongings is by electronic key. My dormitory with 10 beds had its own bathroom with 2 showers and 2 very modern individual toilets. Several common areas were available and the presence of an on-site snack bar was appreciated. Tattva is within walking distance of all Porto's tourist attractions and a metro and train station. I highly recommend.

Very nice, clean and comfortable shared rooms. Beautiful terrace, welcome with drinks, excellent location.

Centrally located! Rich breakfast and very comfortable rooms with bathrooms in the dormitories, light and socket for each bed

Amazing hostel! The price per night here is crazy low for what you get. The rooms each have bathrooms with multiple showers/toilets and each bunk has outlets and curtains. Their breakfast buffet is pretty good for hostel standards and they'll let you print out boarding passes for free. Wonderful service, value, and even location!

Value for money is great! Breakfast included, large common areas (with terrace), central location and bathrooms/showers in the room. Advised!

I stayed here with 15 lads on my stag do and it was perfect. The rooms and beds were clean with individual locked cabinets for personal storage. Some rooms even had double showers and toilets which made it much easier in the mornings. Also has its own bar and restaurant and roof terrace. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very enjoyable.

Best hostel I have ever experienced. I stayed there a full week. Super friendly staff will show you around and take the time to remember your name. They felt like family. Very clean secure rooms. I love the privacy curtains around the beds. The €10 dinners and BBQs are fabulous. Breakfast is complete with pancakes! Great location. I also met the owners, who were interested in hearing customer feedback. They were very kind and very enthusiastic about making the hostel even better, which is amazing since it's already perfect. I can't recommend enough. Amazing!

Tattva Design Hostel is by far the best hostel I've ever visited. We got there a few hours before check-in time, but we were able to leave our bags in a luggage storage room. During check-in, the entire team was super friendly! They informed us of everything around the Hostel, which was decorated very well, giving it a fun vibe. They were also always able to recommend a good place to eat and help us with directions. As Tattva is right in the middle of the city, it is very easy to visit Porto. Also, there is a bus nearby that takes us to the beach too. The room was very clean, and each bed had a curtain so we could have privacy. Under the bed there was a personal closet. The toilets were clean too. Breakfast was also very good! They had ham, cheese, cereal, jam, nutella and a variety of breads, as well as juice and coffee. I also recommend doing the pub crawl! It was fun doing the pubcrawl with some of the other people from the hostel. We felt safe at the hostel. Our flight was super early in the morning and one of the staff made us coffee and gave us a bag of muffins to eat for breakfast. Tattva's hospitality and cleanliness made our trip unforgettable!
