Towns on outskirts of Rome

There are pretty little characteristic towns which are within 30min – 1hour by train/bus from city centre. We recommend to visit Tivoli, Frascati, Catelli Romani and Albano Lake for a day trip.

Catholic Rome

Rome is the city which accommodates another city inside, the Vatican. The smallest state in the world represents the apex of Christian Catholic foundation which, in epoch, supported Baroque culture to unfold. In the Vatican, there are must-sees: St. Peter’s square, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican museums including the Sistine Chapel with famous Michelangelo’s “Last Judgement”.

Even out of the Vatican, in Rome there are hundreds of things to see, Castel Sant’Angelo & the statues of Sant’Angelo bridge, Navona Square, Santa Maria Maggiore Church, San Giovanni in Laterano Church and much more.
