Walk left out of the station, down the main street. After McDonalds turn right. From there follow the blue road signs to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Both stations are a 12-15min walk away.

What a beautiful place to come back to after a long day on the slopes. Just don't spend too long in the club like me!!! I missed a skiing day hahaha

Staff was amazing! Loved the hostel- only downside was no place to lock luggage in the room, but it didn't seem to be a problem. Would definitely stay here again

Hostel was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was well equiped and good fun. A good place to meet other travellers. Only thing it was mising was somewhere to put your luggage in your room. Luckily it was winter and pretty quiet, but I imagine if the room was full it would have been quite a hassel.

Nice, comfortable place in a good location. Comfy beds except the flat pillows:-( Breakfast is included but very small. Good communal kitchen, daily movies.

This place is awesome! It has nice rooms.. the beds are very close but you get over that! The bathrooms are small... but thats a minor issue too, as the rest of the place is awesome. The setting is great and the staff are very accommodating to say the least! The bar below the hostel is loads of fun too! I was intent on staying one night but couldn't leave as it was just so much fun! And the activities you can do are just awesome and well worth it!

Balmer's was a great place to stay - great location, cool atmosphere, fairly up-to-date accommodations. Things I would change: 1. Bigger pillows on the bed 2. allow the rooms to be open between 10 and 4 - I realize you do this for the security of the guests, but there are keys on the doors and it's really annoying to wait around all day to get in your room / carrying all your shit with you that you might need that day.
