Vertigo Vieux-Port is a newly renovated hostel located in trendy Marseille’s Old Port. The third EFH hostel in France, it won’t be long before you feel it becoming your home away from home.

We have small bedrooms, medium and big dorms with shared bathrooms (from 4 to 14beds). Our rooms are comfortable, modern and clean.

You want to hit the bars and clubs? You want shopping and sightseeing? Whatever you’re after you’re in luck. The hostel is located in the Old Port area, meaning it’s walking distance from beaches, bars, clubs, the central market and the famous Notre Dame church. It is also great for accessing boat tours along the famous Riviera and sight seeing. From here you can also visit the famous Calanques – 20 kilometres of white cliffs rising vertically from the sea which 12,000 years ago formed the famous coastline with its many azure blue bays. Diving trips and beach trips are available depending on the time of year, and the coast enjoys sunshine most of the year-round. Its great location spreads to transport links too, there are plenty of buses around and it’s within walking distance of the main Marseille train station.

Every room in the hostel is carefully designed and decorated by local artists according to the unique character of each room. This has made Vertigo a must-go for style spotters and lovers of innovative design.
