Best openair bars in Budapest

From late spring till late autumn the citizens tend to meet, chat, drink, eat and party in openair bars. Luckily a lot of them survived the regulations up until now, so here is our greatest hits for you.

Even in good weather the famous boat comforts the partygoers.

Is at the foot of the Chain Bridge with a unique view to the river and the castle, astonishing. Music is usually electronic, but rather mainstream.

Budapestpark

Can take 2-3 000 guests which makes it one of the largest scenes in town. This is why it hosts mainly the most popular Hungarian and well known international groups as well.

Dürerkert

We highly recommend Dürerkert for the undergound music fans and anyone who likes more the hippie style than the poshy one. Relaxed, graffities everywhere and quite a special line up. Don’t miss it!

Kazinczy street

In the old jewish district, there are several really cool ruinbars on fresh air. It is worth to do a random pub crawl there and grab a drink in each one of them.
