1. Pattaya Thai Imbiss – Traditional Thai Dishes

Location: Taunusstraße 17a, 60329 Frankfurt am Main
Opening hours: Mon to Fri 11:00 – 21:00, Sat & Sun 12:00 – 21:00

Located in the heart of the metropolis of Frankfurt, Pattaya Thai Imbiss preserves and impresses with its authenticity. There, you can discover over 100 traditional Thai dishes that will make you travel back to Thailand. A quick disclaimer: portions and spiciness are also like in its origin land. Enjoy your food in this little and cozy restaurant or choose takeaway. Prices range from about 2-10€ per dish. For example, you can try Tom Kha Gai soup with mushrooms and coconut milk for just 4,30€. A huge plate with Guay Teow Pand Thai (noodles with vegetables and meat) would cost you 8,20€. You can’t shoot wrong with delicious Thai Curry with Rice, choose it for a safe option, and only for 8,50€. Head straight there if more exotic food is what appeals to you!

2. Pizzeria 7 Bello – Best Pizza in Town

Get your munchies like in Italy in the center of Frankfurt! Warm atmosphere, authentic food, and friendly staff – that’s what is waiting for you! Pizza prices there range from 3,50€ to 7€, a Pizza Margherita is just 5€, a Pizza Napoli is priced at only 6€ and a special Pizza ‘7 Bello’ would cost you 7€. Vegetable salads are always a good idea for refreshment, especially at ‘7 Bello’, prices range from 6-7€. You absolutely can’t go wrong with pasta here! The restaurant offers a wide range of fresh and tasty pastas with price range from 6-10€. Try the Gnocchi for just 6€, go classic with Spaghetti Carbonara, priced at 7€, or choose something a bit more inventing, like their Pasta Frutti di Mare, priced at 10€. Stay a bit longer for a cup of tea or coffee, or a fizzy drink – the price for all beverages is 2€.

3. NXT GEN KBP – Kebab Shop

One of the most beloved Kebab shops among locals as well as travelers. Fresh vegetables and meat, generous fillings, LOTS of sauce, and a touch of love – this is the recipe for these outstanding kebabs. The place is 100% halal with many vegetarian and vegan options available. Prices for a kebab or kebab bowl start at 8.90€ and at 12.90€ for a kebab sets with fries and drink. You can always customize your order by adding extras (priced from 0.80€ to 1.80€ each) and choosing different dips (priced from 0.80€ to 1€). Crispy fries with 1 dip are priced at 3.90€, while sweet potato fries with 1 dip are priced at 4.90€. 4. Currywurst Taunus 25 – Sausages, Burgers and Fries

The best place in Frankfurt to the German gastronomy landmark : Currywurst! It’s a steamed and then grilled sausage with special curry ketchup sauce. You can choose from different types of sausages, different levels of spiciness, and different toppings. Currywurst prices start at 5,70€ and 11,70€ for currywurst set with fries and a drink. If you are craving something more usual, the restaurant offers a burger selection as well – prices starting at 8,90€ for a burger and 14,90€ for a full set with fries and a drink. Opening hours: Mon to Fri 7:00 – 20:00, Sat 7:30 – 20:00, Sun 7:30 – 19:00

Situated in 3 locations in Frankfurt, Zeit für Brot bakery produces a variety of freshly baked goods. Its assortment ranges from breads, cakes and sandwiches. Its relaxed and cozy vibe is perfect for morning coffee, sunny days on the terrace, or productive laptop working. Try the best quality pastry and rolls at a price of around 2€ and Don’t pass on fluffy cinnamon buns, priced at 3,80€! If you are craving something fulfilling and savory – sandwiches, priced at 4,10€ are a choice for you! Sourdough bread at Zeit für Brot is also something you must try – taste on-site or take away!
