Now we’re shaking winter off over here in Europe we’re heating up for the summer season, starting with some outside events across Europe. There’s something for everyone with a mixture of Rock Music, Electronic, Beer Festivals, Arts & Theatre, Film.
Primavera Sound, Barcelona
30th May – 3rd June
Not only a celebration of music, Primavera hosts workshops and parties as well over 5 days and taking place in various locations around town. This festival is huge and with main events taking place at the Forum on the beach, there are also smaller free concerts around town in various neighborhoods. Come to Barcelona and celebrate music in the sunshine! The line up this year includes A$AP Rocky, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, The National, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and more! Check it out here
If you’re visiting Barcelona then check out the famous Kabul Hostel in the centre of the old town. This is the place to party with a roof terrace and great atmosphere!
The Czech Beer Festival in Prague 2018 (Cesky Pivni Festival)
If you like beer then get yourself to Prague – there’s 17 days of sipping beers in the park and enjoying beer snacks – with over 10,000 other beer lovers. Expect live music, a great party atmosphere and lots of pivo (that’s beer to you and me). There’s a programme for the live music acts and it’s a great place to meet some locals and eat some beer cheese!

Wiener Festwochen – The Vienna Festival 2018
May 11th to 18th June
The Vienna Festival kicks off in May for five weeks of music, dance, installation art and theater as the city comes alive to celebrate its connection to the world through international arts. This festival celebrates not only traditional theater and arts but also pushes boundaries showcasing up and coming artists, encouraging them to work together to take away walls and borders. You can get tickets online in advance and find out about the line up for 2018.

Friday’s Rock with Fredagsrock Copenhagen
Friday nights in the city are bursting with live music thanks to the newly reopened Tivoli Gardens. Here you can enjoy seriously good music for the price of entry to the gardens, thanks to it Friday Rock season. Live music acts take to the state at 10pm every Friday – so check out the line up and get yourself down there! This season, now in its twentieth year, kicks off on April 13th. The weekly concerts showcase established and emerging talent from around the world.

Cannes Film Festival 2018
Get in on the glitz and glamour of Cannes Film Festival by staying in nearby Nice and visiting for the film screenings (and red carpet moments). This is the best way to visit Cannes on a budget! The festival is celebrating its 71st year this year, so will be pulling out all the stops to make it a glittering experience. The festival aims to celebrate the art of cinema and is one of the most famous in the world with everyone waiting to see who is awarded the famous Palme d’or!
